Instabrowser is designed to make web browsing fast. It downloads just the HTML of a webpage, strips out all the junk that slows it down like images and javascript, and displays the content in a clean, mobile-readable format.

Instabrowser was inspired by reading apps, which take web articles and clean them up for easy reading. However, reading apps don't solve the problem of browsing to the article in the first place, which can be a frustrating experience.

Cellular connections can be slow, and even the iPhone 4S struggles to render script and image-heavy pages. When all of the cruft is stripped out, HTML-only pages can be downloaded, parsed and rendered in tenths of a second.
